Join USP Public Health and The Sessions for a conversation with Minister of Health Mr Gan Kim Yong on ageing population issues. Some of the issues they will be discussing are:
– Should we expand palliative care in Singapore?
– What role can retirement villages and nursing homes play?
– How do we help caregivers experience caregiver stress?
Organised by The Cinnamon Conversation interest group, this is a series of informal and relaxed conversations over dinner. At this session, they will be hosting Prof Chan Heng Chee, an Ambassador-at-Large with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and chairman of the Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities, for a conversation Singapore’s foreign policy and future disruptions on the country.
Every year, we invite the parents of all USP students to our premises for an evening together. It is an opportunity for parents and the USP community to share information and ideas about USP’s development. The programme this year includes a tour around USP, dinner at our dining hall, mini showcases, and conversation with our directors, professors, residential fellows and staff.
We welcome everyone in the USP community to come together to enjoy this evening, and celebrate our community ties.
As part of this year’s NUS Day of Service, USP Admin is collaborating with USP interest group MakanCircles to organise a lunch session with the UTown cleaners. We will also be packing welfare packs for them.
