EPIIC International Symposium

Six USP students will travel to Tufts University to participate in the Education for Public Inquiry and International Citizenship (EPIIC) International Symposium hosted by the Institute for Global Leadership. The topic for this year’s symposium is “Migration in a Turbulent World?” and students will present an issue related to the theme, attend panel discussions and participate in informal gatherings and workshops.

Princeton Diplomatic Invitational (PDI)

Ten USP students travel to Princeton University to participate in the Princeton Diplomatic Invitational, a flagship programme of the International Relations Council at Princeton University. The programme simulates real world diplomatic interactions and student delegates from top universities around the world work closely to influence and make policy decisions.

“Desert Nights, Rising Stars” Writers Conference

A USP student will travel to Tempe, Arizona to attend the “Desert Nights, Rising Stars” Writers Conference hosted by the Virginia G. Piper Centre for Creative Writing at Arizona State University (ASU). The conference provides an opportunity for participants to exchange ideas and share an appreciation for literature and writing.

Princeton Interactive Crisis Simulation (PICSim)

Ten USP students will travel to Princeton University to participate in PICSim, a flagship programme of the International Relations Council at Princeton University. The programme simulates real world diplomatic interactions and student delegates work closely with one another to influence and make policy decisions.

NUS-in-Yale Summer Programme

Five USP students, two FASS students and one Law student will participate in the NUS-in-Yale Summer Programme. Students will read two modules and experience various aspects of Yale undergraduate life.
