Creative Writing Workshop – ‘A Very Human Way of Making Life More Bearable’: The Art of Fiction
Tutorial Room 1, USPThis semester, USP has invited an experienced instructor, Dr Yeo Wei Wei, to conduct a creative writing workshop for USP students. Every Thursday, starting this 29 Aug, this workshop will allow students to discover the truth of Kurt Vonnegut’s statement (he describes creative writing as ‘a very human way of making life more bearable’) and provides an introduction to the fundamentals of writing fiction – short stories and novels.

Tutorial Room 1, USPOrganised by USP alum Alexius Yeo (Geography + USP, Class of 2010), Permaculture@USP is into its third round this semester. This unique programme in USP explores environmental issues through evening workshops, dumpster diving, forest school and even an overseas trip. No pre-requisites for the programme except being (or have been) a USP student and a curious mind for nature.
NUS-Waseda Double Degree Programme Sharing Session
Tutorial Room 1, USPThis informal sharing session is for students who are interested in pursuing the NUS-Waseda Double Degree Programme (DDP). This session is an opportunity for current DDP students (year 4 students) to share their experiences and for year 1 students to ask questions and gain a better understanding of the programme.
