Yvonne will share her experiences at Waseda University which opened up her current career opportunities in Japan. Yvonne will be joined by students from various leading universities in Japan who will provide tips and insights into Japanese university life\, in and out of lectures and tutorials. SUMMARY:Sharing Session on "Forgotten Communities: A Study of New Villages in Malaysia"
DESCRIPTION:Last December\, USP students visited Perak\, Malaysia to conduct ethnographic field research on three ethnic Chinese fishing village communities. While studies have been conducted to document the demographic changes in such villages\, documentation of the experiences of the villagers remains scarce. The ‘Forgotten Communities’ participants have completed research reports on the three villages and will present their key findings to the USP community.
