The Sessions: The Changing Face of Intellectualism

As USP students, we have the prerogative to understand what intellectualism truly means and its place in our world today. How important is it, really? How much does academic excellence define an intellectual, and is intellectualism a quality that should be attributed to USP as a community and to its individuals? How has the definition and perception of ‘intellectualism’ changed over the years?

Join us as we discuss these questions with USP graduates from all walks of life to gleam insight to where intellectualism has brought them and where it has failed to bring them, so we may learn to steward intellectual capacity meaningfully!

Show time:
• 25 January (Friday) and 26 January (Saturday), evening show @ 8pm-10pm
• 27 January (Sunday), matinee @ 3pm-5pm

An android hospitalises a man. Meanwhile, it’s business as usual for 061’s human co-workers, who are less concerned about the incident than making sure it doesn’t affect their salary. Of course there’s also the detective whom everyone wishes wouldn’t do her job so thoroughly, and the daughter who doesn’t care that androids are “evil” now. But at the end of the day, it’s definitely the robot’s fault, right?
