SUMMARY:USP e-Freshmen Orientation Programme – Orientation Week (Camp)
DESCRIPTION:Organised by the University Scholars Club (USC)\, the USP e-Freshmen Orientation Programme (FOP) – Orientation Week (O’Week) will build on the friendships developed among the freshmen during e-Scholaris and e-O’Camp (held earlier on 7 Jun and 3 to 5 Jul respectively)\, to further integrate them into our close-knit community. There will be two parts to the O’Week: 28-29 Jul for Pre-Camp and 5-7 Aug for Camp. \nFreshmen will be introduced to the residential living experience\, USP academic life\, USP-home faculty connection\, community life\, and other opportunities. DESCRIPTION:In conjunction with the virtual NUS Kent Ridge Alumni Family Day\, USP will organise a mini e-Homecoming event this year for some of our alumni. At 2pm\, the USP Class of 2018 will get together online\, followed by the COVID-time Storytelling session helmed by USP alumni at 3pm. \nThe storytelling event\, now into its third session\, provides an open space for alumni to share their COVID stories and struggles. In this particular session\, one of the USP alums will be sharing his experience of helping migrant workers during the pandemic. USP alumni\, C2020 graduates and faculty members are welcome\, but capacity is limited to 30 to allow for better engagement. \nRegister HERE for the COVID-time Storytelling.
