Quantitative Reasoning (QR) Talk – Cancer Research: The Hunt for Significant p-values

The QR Centre is organising a talk titled "Cancer Research: The Hunt for Significant p-values" by Mr Wouter van Loocke from the Centre for Medical Genetics at Ghent University in Belgium. Mr Loocke will be sharing his expertise on the application of biostatistics and biostatistics software on cancer research, as well as some of his latest findings in the field. It will be followed by a screening of "Gattaca". All are welcome, so come join this session for a lively discussion on an important topic, and if you can, stay for the movie too!
