Made possible by the generous gift from the Laidlaw Foundation, the AY2019 Laidlaw Research and Leadership Programme @USP-NUS aims to create ethical leaders of the future by providing students with opportunities spread over 12 weeks in two summers to mature intellectually and personally through a balanced mix of leadership training and a research stint. After 12 weeks of hard work, our Laidlaw scholars, under the guidance of their research supervisors and mentors, will be sharing their research findings during this e-symposium. In conjunction with the virtual NUS Kent Ridge Alumni Family Day, USP will organise a mini e-Homecoming event this year for some of our alumni. At 2pm, the USP Class of 2018 will get together online, followed by the COVID-time Storytelling session helmed by USP alumni at 3pm. The storytelling event, now into its third session, provides an open space for alumni to share their COVID stories and struggles. In this particular session, one of the USP alums will be sharing his experience of helping migrant workers during the pandemic. USP alumni, C2020 graduates and faculty members are welcome, but capacity is limited to 30 to allow for better engagement. Register HERE for the COVID-time Storytelling.
