Asian Undergraduate Summit 2018
Students from the National University of Singapore (NUS) University Scholars Programme (USP) are organising the Singapore leg of the fourth Asian Undergraduate Summit (AUS) from 15 to 23 July 2018, with the overarching summit theme of “Leadership in a Complex World: Taking on Diffused Responsibilities”. Asia’s societal challenges are so large-scale, complex and widespread that the responsibility for tackling them is diffused across all members of society. Too often, individuals experience an inertia to act. AUS 2018 thus aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to respond to diffused responsibilities with purposeful action. The Singapore leg will focus on the sub-theme of creating inclusive spaces to explore how individuals can take on diffused responsibilities by creating inclusive spaces through human-centred design.
