DESCRIPTION:folio – a Writing and Critical Thinking publication – is officially launching its latest edition (Volume 16). folio is USP’s annual publication featuring some of the best essays produced in USP’s Writing and Critical Thinking modules. Four student writers from folio volume 16 will be sharing with us more about their essays. Come listen and have a discussion with them! Students are encouraged to attend this session. Light refreshments and eclairs will be provided.

SUMMARY:Design Thinking Workshop
DESCRIPTION:USP alum Zhai Yunjie (Psychology + USP\, Class of 2018)\, currently a Product and User-experience designer\, will be conducting a second run of design thinking workshop for the USP community. \nThe workshop will focus on learning a methodology of solving problems and devising solutions to address the needs of the human users. This hands-on session will provide a platform for students to learn\, practise\, and ask questions about what it really means to use “design thinking”. She will also cover the concept of blockchain and existing problems in this industry that can be solved using design thinking as an approach.
