“Agriculture and Escapism in Japan” by Prof Yoshihisa Godo, Meiji Gakuin University
Organised by the Cinnamon Conversation and initiated by students, they have invited a guest professor, Prof Yoshihisa Godo from Meiji Gakuin University, for a teatime conversation with USP students. Prof Godo graduated from the University of Kyoto in 1994 with a PhD of Agricultural Economics. He has taught in renowned Japanese universities, including University of Tokyo, Waseda University and Meiji Gakuin University. He has also undertaken stints as a visiting scholar at Stanford University, Yale University and NUS East Asian Institute. He is currently a Special Councilor to the Osaka City Government.
Unplug and Wiggle Butts (Dog Interaction Session)
Chua Thian Poh Hall, USPCome, join this last dog interaction session for the semester! This is an initiative to collaborate with residents at Medway Park (just right next to UTown) to walk their dogs into our campus and interact with the dogs closely. Each interaction session will last about 45mins at the Chua Thian Poh Hall or around the USP amphitheatre. This session is subject to weather condition.
