Princeton Diplomatic Invitational (PDI)
USATen USP students travel to Princeton University to participate in the Princeton Diplomatic Invitational, a flagship programme of the International Relations Council at Princeton University. The programme simulates real world diplomatic interactions and student delegates from top universities around the world work closely to influence and make policy decisions.
Intersection of Tradition and Technology: Japan
JapanThis is a new USP International Programme organised and initiated by USP students. Twelve USP students travel to Japan for this interdisciplinary programme that aims to explore the cross-sections of both the traditions and modern technologies in different fields. Japan as a country is at this very intersection, a country that is steeped in its own traditions and cultures, yet still constantly on the forefront of modern technological breakthroughs and advancements. The programme will bring students through Nagoya and Tokyo, as well as more rural areas such as Suzaka and Kiso Valley.
Inter-Civilisational Dialogue
Istanbul, TurkeySeven USP students travel to Istanbul on a programme led by USP faculty Prof Syed Farid Alatas. Themed “Islam and Multiculturalism”, students will participate in university seminars and discussions with faculty and students in the various host/partner institutions, as well as interact with interfaith community groups and leaders.
