The workshop explores why planning for the future is necessary in an increasingly VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) world, how such planning can be done in terms of tools, techniques and methodologies, and how attendees can apply futures thinking to their personal life, academic work and issues of current interest in Singapore. Practitioners of futures thinking are also invited to the workshop for participants to meet and network.
