Just what is soil? Soil is an amazing substance, a complex mix of minerals, air, water and countless microorganisms. Most of our food comes directly or indirectly from plants anchored in, and nourished by soil. In this workshop, USP alum Alexius Yeo (Geography + USP, Class of 2010) will challenge the predominant understanding of soil through the lens of permaculture and reveal the secrets to organic farming.
