Brief Introduction
Dr Hwang Wei Song is a curator of the entomological collection at Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, and a joint appointee with the University Scholars Programme (USP) at National University of Singapore (NUS). He received his PhD in Entomology from University of California, Riverside where he was trained under the US National Science Foundation PEET (Partnership in Enhancing Expertise in Taxonomy) program. His research focus is on Southeast Asian insect biodiversity, and his specialty is in the systematics of assassin bugs (Reduviidae, Heteroptera).
