Brief Introduction
Prof Hanry Yu is a Professor in the Department of Physiology at NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and a Principal Investigator at Mechanobiology Institute (MBI), with a joint appointment at University Scholars Programme (USP). He is also a Senior Principal Investigator at the Institue of Bioengineering and Bioimaging (IBB), A*STAR and Co-Lead Principal Investigator at Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) CAMP.
He received his PhD in Cell Biology from Duke University (USA) with research on cytoskeleton and membrane interaction. He also did a postdoctoral research on cell biology and bioinformatics of organelle trafficking, European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) as a HFSP fellow.
