USP Fellow Conferred the ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award

USP fellow Prof Lim Chwee Teck and two NUS Engineering professors were conferred the ASEAN Outstanding Engineering Achievement Awards 2016 at the 34th Conference of ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (CAFEO 34) held from 20-24 November 2016 in Manila, the Philippines. Prof Lim’s research project on Highly Flexible and Wearable Sensors for Real-Time Healthcare Monitoring Applications, assisted by his PhD students, won him the prestigious award.

This annual award is conferred on distinguished groups or individuals in recognition of an engineering achievement that demonstrates outstanding engineering skills and which has made a significant contribution to the progression of the field and the quality of life in ASEAN.
