Congratulations to USP Rector Emeritus Ms Euleen Goh for being named one of the best in corporate governance in Singapore! The Chairman of SATS Ltd was awarded Gold for Best Managed Board of a listed company with S$1 billion and above in market capitalisation at the Singapore Corporate Awards (SCA) 2018. The SCA recognises excellence in corporate disclosures and governance among listed companies. The award ceremony was held on 18 July at the Resorts World Sentosa Convention Centre.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ms Goh for her invaluable contributions and guidance to USP students and administration for the past two years. Among the many programmes she was involved in, she started “The Rector’s Programme”—a series of personal and professional development talks and networking sessions aims at developing USP students’ intellectual aspirations, career directions and social responsibility beyond the University. She was also on the Board of Advisors for our student-led Asian Undergraduate Summit. She has impacted the lives of many of us, and also helped us establish connections with prominent individuals in the public and private sectors. To Ms Euleen Goh, we are immensely grateful.
