USP alum Muhammad Shamir Bin Abdul Rahim (Life Sciences + USP, Class of 2007) was honoured with the prestigious award of “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SMCCI). Shamir, founder and chief executive of Sypher Labs, received this recognition at the SMCCI Outstanding Entrepreneurs 2016 Ceremony held on 21 October 2016. Sypher Labs has garnered much attention and coverage in the last three years, especially for the firm’s flagship product, VersaFleet – a cloud-based, simplified automating app that companies can use to manage their fleet of land transport vehicles.
