USP Rector Emeritus and Alum Receive Recognition at the Singapore Accountancy Awards 2018

We are extremely proud of two members of our USP community for receiving recognition at the Singapore Accountancy Awards 2018. Organised by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), the awards ceremony was held at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre on 28 September.

USP Rector Emeritus Ms Euleen Goh, Chairman of SATS Ltd, received the Special Recognition Award for her illustrious career as well as her significant contributions to both the accountancy and non-profit sectors. The award is given to senior ISCA members who have continued to make significant contributions to the accountancy sector beyond retirement.

USP alum Tania Harsono (Accountancy + USP, Class of 2013), currently an Audit and Assurance Manager at Deloitte Singapore, received the Rising Star Award – Professional Accountants in Practice under the Individual Excellence Award category. The award aims to recognise outstanding young professional accountants in practice who are 35 years and below. Tania displays exemplary efforts towards her personal development, including taking on extra responsibilities, demonstrating leadership qualities amongst peers, and assuming a more senior role earlier than expected.

Congrats, Ms Euleen Goh and Tania, for embodying strong leadership and displaying excellence in your work!
