Kudos to everyone on Team USP who trained hard over the past few months notwithstanding the safe-distancing restrictions, and gave the very best fight in every match played at the 2021 NUS Inter College Games (ICG)! An annual event that sees Team USP competing against five other Residential Colleges in a variety of games and sports, this year’s ICG was held from 22 January - 10 February.

The results are as follows:
Reversi – 1st Place
Chinese Chess – 1st Place
Contract Bridge – 1st Place
Bouldering (Women) – 2nd Place | Bouldering (Men) – 4th Place
Basketball (Women) – 3rd Place
Chess – 3rd Place

These results are commendable and congrats to all our winners, but at the end of the day, ICG isn’t just a competition. It is a platform for participants to forge strong friendships with their fellow teammates, to have the courage to try out a new sport, and to push themselves to be better, individually and collectively. So, let’s cheers to everybody who took part in ICG!

P.S: We heard there is interest to start some new sports Interest Groups (IG) in USP, building on the momentum and camaraderie from ICG. We hope this takes off. All the best 🙂
