USP supports research projects of its full appointees. Joint appointees generally, should apply for research funding at their home department. However, USP can provide research support through Tier-1 Academic Research Fund (AcRF) for joint appointees, provided that their research project is sufficiently multidisciplinary. It would be an added advantage if the project provides opportunities for USP students to participate in undergraduate research. Projects that are specifically designed to allow substantial undergraduate research are also encouraged.
