It was an evening of fun and laughter as USP Class of 2015 gathered for a reunion organised by their Class Ambassadors on 25 March 2017. Held at USP Master’s Commons, the event marked the first reunion they had after graduation. Around 45 USP alumni returned to USP for this cosy, intimate gathering. They caught up with each other over catered salted egg sotong and other local delights, while reminiscing their USP days and swapping stories about the past two years (after graduation). The Class Champions also took the opportunity to encourage their batchmates to give to the USP International Programmes Fund – a fund initiated by the same Class of 2015 to help financially disadvantaged USP students to embark on USP international programmes.
James Hii (Engineering Science + USP) was thrilled to spot several familiar faces, many of whom he had not seen since his graduation. “It was just great hanging out with the wonderful people I used to live with, at the place that was my second home. It was like being transported back to when we were still living there. Super nostalgic."
For Varun Soni (Engineering Science + USP), the reunion felt like coming back home even though it has been almost two years since they have graduated. “It's great to see everyone progress in life, and to see such a dynamic group of people contributing to society in their own way.”
Thank you Class Ambassadors of 2015 for organising a hearty reunion, and all the attendees for their presence that evening. Also, thanks to the sponsorship support from NUS Office of Alumni Relations in making the gathering possible.
Join us in welcoming USP Class Ambassadors of 2017!
On 31 March 2017, USP welcomed 13 new Class Ambassadors for the graduating Class of 2017. They would represent their peers in building and nurturing a strong bond between them and the programme. Undoubtedly, Class Ambassadors have an indispensable role in our USP community. We look forward to hearing from them, and to have more class gatherings!
