Being an interdisciplinary academic programme for NUS undergraduates, USP offers its students a well-developed USP curriculum and a wide range of modules.
In this section, you can find information on how the USP curriculum is structured and the kind of modules taught at USP. It will help you, as a USP student, to make informed choices and important decisions as you chart your own curriculum roadmap.
USP students are concurrently enrolled in one of the seven NUS faculties or schools, namely, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering, NUS Business School, School of Computing, School of Design and Environment, and Faculty of Law.
USP students take 30% of their modules in USP and the remaining modules in their home or other faculties. The total workload is the same as that of other NUS undergraduates.
Overview of Structure

General Rule: Students will be required to complete a minimum of eight USP modules in total to qualify for the USP certificate. This will prevent students from substituting too many modules, and thus preserve the USP’s integrity as a learning community
