USP alum Jackie Tan Yen (Life Sciences + USP, Class of 2012), the Co-founder of fundMyLife, has been placed in the prestigious Forbes “30 Under 30 Asia” 2018 list under the Finance and Venture Capital category.

Forbes announced its third annual “30 Under 30 Asia” list in March 2018, featuring 300 young disruptors, innovators and entrepreneurs across Asia in ten categories, all under the age of 30, who are challenging conventional wisdom and rewriting the rules for the next generation. Themed “Disruption and Innovation”, this year’s list features a distinctive list of youthful visionaries and disruptors across industries picked from more than 2,000 nominations. Honorees were vetted and selected by a panel of accomplished and acclaimed judges in each category.

Spurred on by the realisation that his father had bought unsuitable insurance after a lung cancer diagnosis, Jackie embarked on a mission to transform how consumers engage in financial planning. He co-founded fundMyLife, a financial planning online platform that uses an algorithm to connect users with financial advisors based on the questions they ask. His vision is to empower young adults to take control of their finances by getting fast, reliable advice from multiple sources.
