Bart Van Wassenhove is a Lecturer at the University Scholars Programme (USP). He received his PhD from the University of Chicago in 2016 with a dissertation on Moral Admonition and the Emotions in Seneca’s Philosophical Works.
At the USP, Dr Van Wassenhove teaches in the domain of Writing and Critical Thinking. He offers the following module:
Dr Van Wassenhove's research interests include Hellenistic and Roman philosophy (particularly Stoicism), ancient rhetoric and historiography, and the history of the emotions.
